Ninth President of the United States WILLIAM HENRY HARRISON scarce autograph note dated February 19th 1795 requesting rations of whiskey.  BOLDLY Signed "Wm. H. Harrison" with handwritten rank as aide-de-camp ("a.d.c.") in handsome 12" x 18" framed display.


Includes original PSA/DNA QuickOpinion Result Letter as "LIKELY GENUINE".


Item was originally purchased in 2006 from respected manuscript dealer Scott J. Winslow. Item comes with paperwork shown and portrait of Harrison.


Authentic Harrison signatures are relatively scarce and desirable, having served just 1 month in office as President of the United States.


The document text reads, "The quartermaster will issue fifteen rations of wiskey (sic) for use of the (Pipers) Greenville Feby 19th 95".


Measures 3.5" x 8"; irregular edges, foxing, folds as pictured. Docketing on the reverse.


WILLIAM HENRY HARRISON, Sr. was an American military officer and the ninth President of the United States. He was also the last president born as a British subject, and died of pneumonia just 31 days into his term, thereby serving the shortest tenure in United States Presidential history. Harrison was the son of Founding Father Benjamin Harrison V, and the grandfather of Benjamin Harrison the 23rd President of the United States.
