The second war fund was a project by the Red Cross in May of 1918 that sought to raise $100,000,000 in a single week. The project was a success and raised well over $166,000,000 worth of funding for the first world war. Here we see legendary inventor Thomas Edison doing his part donating to the cause. 

 

Card measures appx. 3.25" x 5.25". Paper loss to the upper left corner, otherwise in fine condition. Light toning, as shown.

 

Autograph has been neatly framed and mated by a previous collector.
