Legendary martyred American politician, Attorney General, Senator and Presidential Candidate ROBERT F. KENNEDY, his original hospital patient ID bracelet from the night of his assassination, June 5, 1968.

Acquired directly from the family of Officer Tony Stolle who was present the night of the assassination and escorted the mortally wounded RFK to the hospital from the scene of the shooting at the Ambassador Hotel.  After the Senator was transferred to the operating table for surgery, an attendant wheeling the gurney back out of the surgery room gave Officer Stolle Senator Kennedy's hospital patient wristband. The hospital ID bracelet has remained in the officer's family for more than 50 years.

RFK was first taken to Central Receiving Hospital. Upon discovering the severity of his injuries he was rushed to Good Samaritan Hospital.

Due to the severity of Senator Kennedy's injuries, Central Receiving called the senior surgeon at Good Samaritan Hospital, Dr. Henry Cuneo. Dr. Bert Meyer, Chief of Thoracic Surgery at Good Samaritan was also called in to consult because Central Receiving was unable to identify whether damage had been done to any of RFK's internal organs. Both doctors' names appear on the patient ID wristband, along with the patient's information: "KENNEDY, SEN. ROBERT / DR. H. CUNEO, DR. B. MEYER / 68-5691."

Accompanied by a letter of provenance from Officer Stolle's son-in-law certifying the hospital patient ID bracelet as genuine.

Robert Kennedy's hospital patient ID wristband measures 4.25" x 1", and would measure 9" if fully unfolded. It remains flattened and secured by its snap enclosure as it has been since that fateful day on June 5, 1968.

Additional video provenance from Officer Stolle is provided by searching SIGNATURIST-INK on YouTube.
