Approximate translation reads:"Sir Gaudin: I am sending you the good news from Vaulerbergh. You know according to my decree the means I took to obtain my objectives. I desire that before March 15th that everything which I demand should be fulfilled. Everything is to be divided in ten lots for the creation of six hundred [actionelles?], and twelve hundred [livres?] from the Treasury of Amortissement for the rest. Send me without delay the receipts for the papers. I pray God that you are under His Holy Protection a Paris, the third of March 1808. [signed] Napoleon"
