Authentic American & Tibetan prayer flags carried to the summit of MOUNT EVEREST by the 2022 Furtenbach Adventures Everest expedition. The flags summited on Friday, May 13, 2022 at 7:20 a.m. Kathmandu local time and are part of an incredibly limited quantity of flags that went up on this expedition. Each Tibetan flag was made by a Tibetan Refugee. The flags can be seen on the summit in the fourth photo of the listing as well as the related video.

Standing at 29,029 feet, Mt. Everest is the Earth's highest point and is located in the Mahanlangur Himal sub-range of the Himalayas. The first successful climb was achieved by Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay in 1953. Everest is widely considered one of the deadliest climbs you can attempt with over 300 people perishing on the mountain.
