Legendary Singer / Songwriter JIM CROCE incredibly scarce self-financed debut album, "Facets" signed in handsome framed display. Croce humorously inscribes "Riddle Paddock '67 (Collectors item)".

This is the only known signed copy of Jim's debut album, and one of the very few authentic examples of Croce's signature.

Self-published in 1966, Croce had just 500 copies of the album pressed, financed with a $500 cash wedding gift that he and his wife to be, Ingrid Croce, received from his parents. Croce's parents were certain that Jim would fail at selling the record, and realizing that he couldn't support his family as a singer, would abandon music and finish his college education. To their surprise, he not only sold every last record but also turned a profit of almost $2500. Today, original vinyl copies of Facets are extremely rare; well-preserved copies are known to fetch as much as $1,000+ alone from collectors. It's almost certain there are far less surviving copies of "Facets" in circulation – let alone a signed copy.
