22nd and 24th President of the United States, GROVER CLEVELAND cut signature, dated "May 9, 1903" in Cleveland's hand. Handsome full signature with flourish. An excellent example of the Presidents penmanship. Signed during Cleveland's busy post-presidency. Just 3 weeks earlier Cleveland had given a speech in support of the education of African Americans and the works of Booker T Washington's Tuskegee Institute.
