Legendary Hungarian Composer FRANZ LISZT (1811 - 1886) RARE authentic handwritten panel from an envelope. Nine words entirely in Liszt's hand. (19th c. collector's notation in bottom left corner "Listz's (sic) writing").

FRANZ LISZT was a prominent 19th Century Hungarian Composer, virtuoso pianist, conductor and teacher. Liszt gained renown in Europe during the early 19th century for his virtuosic skill as a pianist. He was said by his contemporaries to have been the most technically advanced pianist of his age, and in the 1840s was considered by some to be perhaps the greatest pianist of all time. Liszt is certainly as highly regarded as Beethoven and Mozart, and his works are among the most prolific and difficult compositions.
