Pierce signed handsomely in the top left corner writing "Free Franklin Pierce". Pierce addresses the envelope to "Hon. J M Aiken for Mrs. Aiken...". "Mrs. Aiken" was Franklin Pierce's sister-in-law. Item is authenticated and encapsulated in a PSA/DNA holder.
