32nd President of the United States FRANKLIN D. ROOSEVELT hand-signed Navy Department document dated November 25th 1913. The document pertains to a promotion of Daniel J Murphy to a clerking position. There is a stamped full signature of Roosevelt at the conclusion, however, to the left of it Roosevelt has authentically signed his initials in blue ink as "FDR".
 
Sale includes copy of accompanying Auction LOA from the highly-respected JSA (James Spence Authentication) who have examined the autograph and certify its authenticity. This letter was part of a larger lot of two letters and a signed photo that were reviewed by JSA, see photos for reference.
