Envelope is postmarked on the 14th of October 1931 from Saint Louis Missouri where Hemingway was living with his wife while working on his book "Death in the Afternoon". The two addressees of the envelope Charles Macgregor and Robert Benchley who were members of the Algonquin Round Table which Hemingway was also a member. The Algonquin Round Table was a group of famous New York City writers, actors, and critics.
