Legendary author ERNEST HEMINGWAY hand-signed partial Cuban magazine abstract art page. Ernest Hemingway has inscribed along the margin "Al Alejandro Saurina muchas recuerdos Ernesto Hemingway". Included with the item is an exceptional letter of provenance from the daughter of the original recipient. The letter attests that the autograph was obtained in 1939 or 1940 by Alejandro Saurina just outside a bar Hemingway frequented "El Floridita" in Cuba. 

Hemingway was such a frequent customer of the Floridita they erected a bronze statue of his likeness in his favorite part of the bar. You can google Hemingway Floridita and find several photos of the famous author enjoying drinks with friends at the bar!

Sale includes accompanying original LOA from the highly-respected JSA (James Spence Authentication) who have thoroughly examined the autograph and certify its authenticity.
