COLE YOUNGER was an active Confederate Civil War participant who became best known for his string of crime committed with the James-Younger Gang. Younger was the oldest brother of his three other brothers in the gang. Jesse James and Cole Younger were such successful outlaws due to their confederate ties, however, the success came to an end during the ill-fated Northfield bank robbery.
