American founding father, Alexander Hamilton, pristine letter signed while serving his renowned tenure as America's first Secretary of the Treasury. Hamilton writes on October 17th, 1790 to William Channing Esq. referencing a letter which Hamilton sent earlier in August requesting Channing to approve a list of names to be awarded newly issued government loans as part of Hamilton's landmark compromise of 1790 legislation. These newly issued loans would help fund the repayment of domestic debt incurred by the States during the revolutionary war.

The letter itself is in good condition some small chips to the edges and a square shaped area of toning towards the center. The letter itself is housed in a museum quality display. Some scuffing to the frame itself, otherwise in fine condition. Overall frame measures approx. 29"x26". Hamilton signed letter measures 7.75"x7.75".
